Welcome to Waikato Migrant Resource Centre
The Waikato Migrant Resource Centre is a place where newcomers can find information and resources to help them with their settlement process in the Waikato Region. There is a particular focus on supporting people from a non-English speaking background.
The Waikato Migrant Resource Centre also operates as a community centre. It is a place where people from all cultures and backgrounds are welcome, and where newcomers and locals can interact.
The Centre is operated in a partnership between the Hamilton Multicultural Services Trust and the Waikato Ethnic Council. A number of community organisations base their settlement services at the WMRC, and there is also input into the life of the Centre from Government agencies and the City Council.
